Frankly, I thought he made more sense for the Browns.

Where does bieniemy end up?

Flying High D 01-06-2020 09:10 AM

Shouldn’t the GM at JAX be under the saved category?

MahiMike 01-06-2020 09:10 AM

McCarthy to the cowboys.

ROFL Thats the best Mike could do? This wont end well Jerry is a control freak.

Cowboys should have kept Kris Richard and hired Greg Roman. They had everything on defense but needed a good offensive coach.

How could you not hire Roman after seeing the work he did with Kaepernick and Lamar?

They're keeping most of their offensive staff, so I doubt they wanna blow it up that way with a new offense.

I actually like the McCarthy hire. They're ready to win now, they need someone in there to get the wheels on track. McCarthy can do that.

Zeke is going to be useless there now because McCarthy refuses to run the ball.

Panthers.

I think there’s a very good chance he’s their HC. Like better than 50/50.

They shouldn’t have paid him anyway

Wonder if they could trade him?

When it happens, we have to remember one thing...
This is not depodestas choice. He wants Stefanski.
This is probably not Eliot wolf's choice. He probably wanted McCarthy.

I don't think this is even jimmy Haslams choice. Rumor is that Dee Haslam is the one who wants this most. Same person who blocked depodesta from hiring Sean McDermott because she refused to fire hue Jackson.

Only in Cleveland.

Yeah I think that is probably his best chance IMO.

Maybe but it is a safe hire.

McCarthy is a Super Bowl winning HC and he didn't inherit Aaron Rodgers as a HOF-caliber QB in Green Bay... he helped develop him and managed the transition from Favre to Rodgers.

Obviously things got stale for McCarthy at the end in Green Bay, but like Andy Reid going from Philadelphia to KC, a change of scenery will be beneficial.
