Exactly. The Chargers have a ton of guys dinged up all over the team. It's a level playing field.

I’m naturally pessimistic when it comes to this. Seems that every time an important player on the opposing team is questionable or “dinged up,” they play and have one of their best games.

It's basically a bye week for half of our defense, so I guess that's a positive? More rest?

If we win, sure.

He had 2 INT's in the 1st game. All he has to do is not do that and the rest of the team will likely be fine.

One was Kemp batting it off his hands.

One was Kelce running the complete wrong route.

The Kemp one was particularly egregious. Have to make that catch. We were moving the ball at will.

CEH can’t fumble tonight either.

So if we lose do we get the excuse of “well they didn’t have most of X position group” like the Cowboys got with their WRs?

Yes. We are down big names. If Bosa, Allen and Williams were out are they the same? **** no.

That’s a tall ****ing task with Allen, Williams and Guyton.

Gotta take advantage of Slater and their other lineman being out

If our current trajectory holds true, I honestly think Ingram, Nnadi, Wharton and Clark can make that happen

Protect these corners with constant pressure, preferably of the 4 man variety to keep the shell intact on Herbert... but if and when that isnt working, its time for Spags to get exotic and blitz the piss out of him

Sassy Squatch 12-16-2021 05:11 PM

If there was ever a game for Clark to make that contract worthwhile it's tonight. If he and Ingram can make life miserable for the Chargers backup LT it'd go a damn long way.

Sassy Squatch 12-16-2021 05:12 PM

Ingram revenge game would be really ****ing swell.

NEWSFLASH!!..WARD IS QUESTIONABLE..NOT OUT. I REPEAT!!..WARD IS QUESTIONABLE..NOT OUT.

And if you think questionable automatically means out..then Darwin James, Asante Samuel and Austin Eckeler are "out" for the Bolts tonight :thumb: .

The Bolts will have backups at both tackle spots tonight right? So trying to double either Clark or Ingram could be tough.

Sassy Squatch 12-16-2021 05:18 PM

You also effectively pencil in Mathieu as the slot corner, especially if Ward can't go.

Sassy Squatch 12-16-2021 05:23 PM

Holy ****ing shit the Browns situation today makes the NFL look really bad. They didn't do today's testing for whatever reason until AFTER practice and quite a few players tested positive.
