Great pick Boss.

He didn’t test as well as expected, but he still has more than enough athleticism to go with great size and ball skills.

It’s not an immediate need but I think NO cuts/trades Roby to save cap and CB is a need after next season regardless. This kid should be able to play at a high level in the NFL.

Was hoping he’d fall to KC /Tamba Berry

The Steelers will be sending the New Orleans Saints a glitter bomb “thanking” them for stealing our top target.

Stymied by the loss of Gordon the Steelers really struggle with who to take at 52 and call around looking for a trade down. Finding no takers, they evaluate reaching for a few players they really like at positions of need vs. taking a player whose falling that GM Kellerfox doesn’t love, but thinks could have great upside in replacing Ben Roethlisberger. After stressful debate…

The Pittsburgh Steelers select Matt Corral, QB, Mississippi

(I went into this mock draft exercise committed to not taking a QB for the Steelers in the top half of the draft as I really think they commit to shoring up the OL and leaning heavily on Harris for a year before addressing QB next year. But I don’t think they could pass on Corral at pick 52 so I feel my hand is forced)

All is not lost for the Chiefs. There’s still 1 edge rusher that I really like.

When Lloyd is out there wrecking shit for us, you all wouldn't be hating

Honestly, when I went through the picks to record who was taken in prep for my next pick, I couldn't believe Corral was still on the board. There's a couple more that make me "hmm" too but hopefully they go off soon.

I personally think that is a product of this year's draft class. While it lacks (IMO) star power at the top... It's incredibly deep due to the NCAA's COVID eligibility policies. While I don't know how many of this year's "top 10" would go at the top in another year... I truly think there are close to 60 players who could go in the first round. I think teams will have an abundance of guys with 1st round or early 2nd round grades.

I was gonna take him if he slipped to TB.

I still don’t think he’s more than a poor man’s Baker. But it’s not like I’m willing to bet on Trask either.

But Corral very well could be a top 10 pick depending on which teams fall in love with him vs. other prospects... So he's exceptional value at 52!

From what I've read, I think the Steelers like Sam Powell and Carson Strong.

Just thinking out loud about something unrelated, but could you imagine if the Steelers replace Rothlisberger with Desean Watson with all the allegations?

Great pick. I don't think its unrealistic to say Corral might be the best QB in this draft. What his ceiling is I don't know but with an organization like Pittsburgh I think that's a kid you can draft and they'll win games

Titty Meat 03-10-2022 09:47 PM

Dammit I just noticed the Dolphins stole my Bills pick. Hall arguably was the best RB in CFB during his time at ISU. Allen with a competent run game would be next level unstoppable.

I feel really dirty taking all these fatties.

This is a classic Raiders move. Take the **** massive 380 lber. You can see Al's creepy ass skull grinning through the grave with this one.

The Las Vegas Raiders select Daniel Faalele, OT, Minnesota

kccrow 03-11-2022 04:20 AM

The New England Patriots select Damone Clark, LB, LSU.

Two players on the board right now I feel like I could and should take, and have no business being there, but one isn't a need and the other isn't what I'd call their "type" at the position. Meanwhile, Clark is a prototype LB for today's NFL, in my opinion, and can help fill one of the voids the Pats have at either MLB or SLB.

I see 3 or 4 I wouldn’t hate on the DL here for KC.

I also wouldn’t be surprised if 3 of them are gone before he’s up.
