I am not going to back and find the posts. Gay has been mentioned as a FA that needs to be retained, by me and others. I just have to say, how about Leo Chenal, he has been showing a lot of progression in his game.

Sneed's the best CB in football right now. Pay him and be done with that group for a while.
|
Price tag went up after his performance last night. AJ brown was held to one catch for 8 yards.

Even PFF ranked Sneed high last night. |

The guy is a must keep, I don't care how much depth we have back there. Maybe you have to cut Reid and clear up a little space to do it, but so be it even though he's been great. Sneed cannot be allowed to leave. |

If the Ravens don't tag Madubuike, I'd probably opt to let Chris Jones walk, go in hard on Madubuike, and re-sign Sneed.
|
I don't think we can afford Jones or Sneed.
Let Jones walk, tag and trade Sneed. Teams will come out of the woodwork for him. |
Those are some low grades for a defense that was suffocating and being more physical than the Eagles for 90% of the game.

How much do we expect Sneed to get?
Spotrac suggests only $7m. |
https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/kansas-c...iefs/cap/2024/
+$31m in Cap Space available next offseason. -$30m for Chris Jones. +$14m for cutting MVS. -$14m for Sneed & Gay = $1m leftover Ask Thuney or Mahomes to restructure $4m for draft picks. Take a WR in RD #1, and another in RD #2-4. Thrive, no? |
