We were apparently far better in those years than I remember. Amazing what having Alex Smith as a QB can do to a fanbase.

Oh, I'm fully on the boat that the Ravens are overrated overall. But the reason they're #1 in the standings right now has to do with their elite defense and rushing attack and nothing to do with how Lamar Jackson is playing.

He has about as much to do with it as Alex Smith did for those Chiefs teams.

It's pretty easy to play quarterback when you have the best defense and rushing attack in the league and your team doesn't even require you to pass with any regularity.
