He is still a very good short yardage RB, which happens to be a major weakness for the Chiefs. He got 9 TD’s last year despite averaging only 3 yards per carry. Would be awesome if he can make a big difference in picking up first downs & TD’s in short yardage.

This is the equivalent of Le'veon Bell, Melvin Gordon or whatever rerun at RB the Chiefs have signed the past couple years. If Hunt gets a couple carries for a few yards, great. If he's cut in a few weeks, so be it. If the magical powers of Mahomes causes him to regain the fountain of youth and he runs for 500 yards... well Chiefs.
