I think Mahomes should rest for this game but he's going to play. He's going to play as long as his leg is still attached to his body and even if it wasn't Andy would have to pull rank to get him to sit out for 2 drives.

I don't understand the "sit Patrick no matter what" talk. If he's not ready, sure. But if he is ready, he better damn well be in there Saturday. We have to assume Buffalo wins out, meaning we HAVE to win 2 out of 3 remaining games. This is our last home game and having PMII at QB gives us our best chance to win.

I'll tell you what, If I was Clark Hunt, I would be calling whoever is responsible for all these non-calls against our QB. This is bullshit. Goodell, the head referee in charge, whoever....and tell them, "You know what? Forget about your Netflix ****ing special if this is the abuse you're going to let happen to our QB. Any other scheduling quirks that you want our QB to be in, forget it. Watch your ratings plummet. This has gone on for waaaay to long. Start protecting our QB like every other team gets!"

Those 2 weeks are unknown, but what is now is Patrick needs rest. Wentz can win games, and Andy has with Matt Moore.

If he's deemed healthy enough to play, then of course he should play.

However, the risk assessment, in terms of can he avoid sacks/pressures and protect himself needs to be carefully evaluated before allowing him to play.

There are people here that have said he should sit, period.

If this is about him being medically cleared, then we agree. If he's cleared, he should play. If he's not, he won't. It's that simple.

But suggesting he needs to sit no matter what is just dumb and several people have said it.

Parker, you saw him correct? The dude needs it being carted away, Wentz can win a game and if you win with Carson against the Texans you play Patrick against the Steelers.
