I don't know how much Nagy is to blame for the offensive woes of the past two seasons, but I feel very comfortable saying he certainly hasn't done anything to garner confidence in his abilities to bring anything new, effective, unique to the table.

Conerly is one of those guys I think has a high floor but is close to being developed. He is what he is. |

Orlando Brown Jr was decent and better than Donovan Smith but not by a lot. JuJu leaving hurt but Rice became WR #1 by the playoff run and the offense still looked like shit compared to 2022. Kelce looked in his prime for the 2023 team's run. He was incredible. McKinnon was a nice bet but he was being paid 1 million, vet minimum type number. You're telling me Veach couldn't find a similar talent? Our offense went to #1 and scoring 38 against a stacked Eagles team in 2022 to 15-16 straight drives without a TD in the AF.C Championship and SB?! I will say this for Nagy. Dude has had the best gig since Doug Peterson holding a clipboard and doing that at 3 stops. |
This is Andy's offense and I fault Andy.
I don't think the offense' decline is Nagy's fault. There's just too many factors at play. That being said, he's certainly not contributing to any new or fresh ideas because this offense looks stale. Again, I blame Andy. He needs somebody in here that's more than a yes man. |
Love Veach and Andy but they are not infallible.
The decision to make Skyy Moore and Kadarius Toney WR1/WR2 in 2023, deciding to start Kingsley Suamatia who was clearly not in any way ready, the decision not invest in RB2 until they signed Samaje Perine at the end of August. That’s a huge reason this offense has stalled. That’s not Nagy |
I'm not sure I'm as high on Conerly as some, but I do think he's a better prospect than Kingsley. Or perhaps he's similar, but I'm more comfortable with where he's currently lacking.
I think he's most definitely a better mover than Kingsley and has better hands. The issue is strength with Conerly, I don't think that's a concern with Kingsley. I guess I'm just way more comfortable with a guy with good speed and agility and young enough to get stronger, than I am with other prospects with more questionable mobility. I know people are, reasonably, concerned with Stanley's injury record. But a situation where he's here on mega bucks for a year and Conerly redshirts, I think I'd be pretty happy with that. If he's starting, yeah, I'm nervous, but less nervous than seeing Kingsley there again. |

The Chiefs have created a terrific organization for Patrick, we are winning Super Bowls like they're preseason games. Nobody can deny that or take away from it. However, Andy and Veach have had a lot more misses than some people want to admit, and have been saved by Mahomes and this defense many times because of it. They take risks they probably wouldn't take with Alex Smith at QB as far as position players. Is that a good or a bad thing? Lately, it's failed more than it's succeeded. Let's hope the tide turns this offseason. |

Our offense looks Nagified with a lot 0f the staples of Nagy's Bears. Or if it's Andy, we went back to the Alex Smith offense without the sharpness. If it's actually Reid and not Nagy, still sucks. Our offense is stale and doesn't give the QB easy layups that other teams get. The SB, Fangio's players knew our playbook better than we did. |
Never thought I’d see the day that we appear in 3 straight super bowls and the next offseason I’m frantically looking for updates on which fatty we’re gonna sign

He’s almost 67. He’s got nothing left to prove to anyone. How much motivation and creativity does he have left?? |

If Andy wants to stay on as head coach and be the leader of men but not run the offense he should hire a new Offensive Coordinator. Because Mahomes is not going to put up with Nagy much longer. Look at our offensive players on the sidelines most of last year. Very little joy. |
I would like Matt Nagy if he had a goatee
