About time you recognize.

With the Bills and Bengals not playing, the seeding would be determined based on winning percentage. But that would create a perceived unfair advantage for the Chiefs, who would capture the No. 1 seed simply by beating the Raiders on Saturday — even though the Chiefs have lost to the Bills and the Bengals. The situation also creates a competitive disadvantage for the Bengals, who could have landed at No. 2 or even at No. 1 if they had won the game against the Bills.

As one source explained it to PFT, the owners will have to resolve some “controversial” aspects of finalizing the plan. The specific options for the owners currently aren’t known.

It also isn’t known whether the situation would be resolved by a simple majority or a 24-vote supermajority.

Regardless, the league has yet to make a decision. On Friday, the owners hopefully will do so.

"Perceived unfair advantage" for playing a full schedule, winning 14 games, and not skipping their toughest game of the season. Clark better fight this bullshit perception.

As you said there's no option that is 100% fair but guess what? Life isn't fair. Just make a decision and lets go play some football.

Exactly. The league needs to make a goddamn decision and let’s move on.

The Chiefs are going to beat the Raiders and the Patriots are going to beat the Bills.

If the NFL feels the need to **** around and tweak shit after the Chiefs legitimately claim the 1 seed (and that includes this neutral field AFC Championship game garbage) then that's messed up.

They needed to do that Monday night. Now look at it.

If Mac Jones wasn’t a complete ****ing trainwreck, I’d agree completely.

They did, and it was the right call.

I’ve witnessed someone I care about getting CPR and AED and it’s something I could have gone 100 lifetimes without seeing.

Nuance is really hard!

I know that and I know it is far more complicated than I am making it seem.

However, at the same time, this isn't some chemistry question that scientists have been trying to crack for past decade. I don't think it's a huge deal whatever decision they make basically is what I was getting at.

Hopefully the owners and Goodell make the right decision but regardless the Chiefs just need to prepare for their next opponent to the best of their ability and focus on what they can control.

No contest.

Winning percentage.

It's not perfect but it's the solution that causes the least disruption and therefore makes the most sense.

It's a complete no brainer.

Which of course means we're going to wind up with some ridiculously contrived bullshit.

It cannot be winning percentage when the total amount of games is different

League needs to make a decision that’s not dumb as ****. Poor leadership is ok in your book I guess.

Easy solution. Call the came they started that the Bills players don't want to finish.

That's literally what the rules say it is (winning percentage) and it makes sense. Because why would/should a team ever benefit from not playing a game (unless you're the NFL and you're trying to figure out how to appease Buffalo).

Wait, is this some kind of passive aggressive championing/normalzing of being an insecure football fan with an inferiority complex who constantly cries about the refs and league?

Because yes... that is for pussies.
