Peters certainly didn't fit in with the "Midwestern values" of the fan base, where both the teams that the Chiefs allowed to show interest, don't really give a **** what their players do off the field as long as it not against NFL rules or 5 felonies*.
Peters never was a"WE" player and certainly will be replaceable.
I don't think he wanted to be here anymore than the local VFW"s wanted him to represent KC.
How long would Peters lasted after a situation like this in KC???

*Westbrooks was arrested on five felony charges of receiving stolen property, carrying a loaded firearm, carrying a stolen loaded firearm, grand theft of a firearm and possession of a high capacity magazine

Charges were drastically reduces from 5 felonies to 2 lower charges (misdemeanors of carrying a loaded firearm and possession of a stolen firearm) without a plea agreement.
How long would Westbrooks be with the Chiefs after that?

At the conference, it will be decided whether a trial is required for the case. Since the arrest, Westbrooks has played every game for the Rams, and the expectation is that he’ll continue to do so.
Coach Sean McVay addressed the situation on Thursday, saying the Rams have continued to support Westbrooks.
