Their defensive gameplan was nothing we haven't seen before. Don't get beat deep and force the Chiefs to run or throw short passes. Problem is we've never seen a team, including the Colts last year when they pushed us around, which had such a dominant game against our offensive line. Mahomes was running around the entire game. Their front 4 dominated our front 5. Simple football. Win the trenches.

I have listened all year to the bulletin board experts about how this and that doesn't matter. In the end, football is won in the trenches always will be. We got beat right square to the jaw smackdown. The loudmouths and they know who they are just got taught a hard lesson O-line matters. Hollywood fraud will try to convince it was the officiating and it was bad but it wouldn't have mattered.

I’m still pretty much in shock in how bad we got outcoached....almost unfathomable to me.

Yes and no. You can overcome a bad offensive line. We've seen it all year. However, the Fisher injury was the last straw. They had to move Remmers and Wylie around. It was just too much. A bad line is one thing. The worst line you've ever seen is something else.

Any FA on this team that fancies himself anything other than an accessory to Mahomes' greatness can GTFO.
