Nick Pratto is a bit baffling. I expected a little more power out of the guy and a little less contact. When I watch him play 1B he seems solid but def war seems to say otherwise. Maybe hes scared to whiff to much cuz he doesn't want to get sent down.

I'm just completely skeptical. Not just because Salvy has control over being traded but all we've heard for years is how Salvy is overrated, pitch framing, doesn't walk, etc. and he has a massive contract on top of it.
The Royals are going to value him more over literally every other team. This almost 100% feels like a trade where you'd get some decent prospects but probably midrange guys, maybe a top 100 player if you're very lucky, and now you've traded your best player for lottery tickets and the fans are more angry than ever. |
