Alex Smith is exactly who he is - a slightly above average, dependable veteran who won't completely shit the bed and will allow the Chiefs to actually develop their talent while winning games, as opposed to Matt Cassel, who no one believed could ever do anything so they all quit.

Alex Smith won't be starting for this team in 2015. This is a stop-gap. If they sign him to a huge extension, then I'll panic.
