I think twitter guy is right too. Why would they waste time right now? If he were getting surgery he'd have gotten it.

If he really needed surgery, you'd think it would have been done by now. Something else is going on.

It sounds like to me he's going to play through the pain at some point, otherwise the surgery would have already happened.

I hate to say it but I kinda feel like the Twitter guy could be right.

You think they would seek an injury settlement this early in the season?

No way.

Yep. I don't think anything has actually changed with his health. This "leak" was most likely the Chiefs trying to get him to feel more urgency.

I think I’d try to play him only on game days this year, maybe one practice a week. Then get surgery as soon as the season ends.

pugsnotdrugs19 09-29-2018 08:43 PM

The injury settlement only makes sense if he’s just ready to retire.

BossChief 09-29-2018 08:57 PM

How does an injury settlement work in terms of the cap?

Anyone else think our medical staff just might be completely ****ing incompetent?

That or they've had a run of extremely bad luck.

There has been a trend of suspicious nature of injuries, I don't think it's bad luck. I think it's medically incompetent.

Yeah, I know. Just a bit of sarcasm.
