I'm pretty sure a guy we just gave up two 2nds for is still going to be our starter three seasons from now.
Not exactly a reach...even Alex Smith doesn't suck that badly. |

We looked so much better with an average QB. We'll definately be better with Smith though I'll always feel like we gave up too much to get him. |

If the Chiefs win a playoff game with Alex Smith, something they haven't accomplished in 20+ years, it will be worth the price the Chiefs paid. If the Chiefs win multiple playoff games, it'll be more than worth the price. If they're in the Super Bowl, it'll have been a no brainer. But to complain about it now, before he's even played a game or a season, it just plain dumb. |
I wonder if even 364 of the thread's 3364 responses are not bickering posts.

Folks got silly and childish, so that's the way I have to treat em. Get it how you live. **** the high road, when it comes to pricks like that. They don't want to open the door and offer a beer to a fellow fan? I'll kick it open, go shit on their coffee table and then shove their face in it. That's how we roll where I'm at. :D |

All you've done since the trade was made public, is bitch and whine and attempt to slander Alex Smith's performance the past two seasons in San Francisco. You've ignored the fact that he was advised to play through a shoulder separation, you've ignored the fact that he's had multiple SHITTY head coaches and coordinators and you've ignored the fact that until 2011, he finally had an average offensive line. You've completely ignored the fact that he's never had a high caliber receiver, let alone multiple high caliber wide outs and you've dismissed his playoff run and NFC Championship OT loss repeatedly. According to the False Narrative you've invented to further your attention whoring, there's no possible outcome other than Alex Smith sucking ass. Own it, you ****ing mendacious, sanctimonious cockbag. |
I've never said Alex Smith wouldn't be here three seasons from now...

If that offends you, then go post at Warpaint Illustrated. People there are much nicer to each other, they love whatever it is the Chiefs do, and are probably good with Alex Smith as their QB. Oh, and I'll bet you'll find a lot more posters who use "u" as shorthand. Basically, just ****ing go away. Please. |

... and as I have said many times.. things are finally heating up for NFL action, so rejoice... you won't be seeing me here as much. Just about time to go to the grown up forums. ... but I will likely pop in just to get a laugh or two. So... http://i1268.photobucket.com/albums/...Untitled-3.gif |

I've seen Claynus bitching about Sutton. How in the **** can you bitch right now about this guy when you haven't seen a real game scheme? |

I am, however, suggesting fans who immediately anoint him as part of this uber-wonderful coaching staff slow their roll. He has almost 0 skins on the wall. That, and the fact that Jets fans hate his guts is enough to give me pause. But this is a fan base who was praising the Daboll hire last offseason so...y'know. It's par for the course. |

You, Claynus, are a miserable, immature, and lonely prick. So it makes sense that every aspect of football (and life) for you will be bleak and shit-stained. Many people here are happy and successful people. So it makes sense that they view their football (and life) in a far more positive outlook. It's really as simple as that. Some folks are miserable shits, and bitch and moan to anyone that will listen. Why? because misery loves company. |

I posted once they got to the playoffs, no telling what happens, especially considering 2011 and how close they came then. Again not an outlandish claim by any stretch of the imagination. The response I got was he didn't finish the season and was traded to the Chiefs so that somehow disputes everything I said. So yea, this place is chock full of morons. |

People have wanted an aggressive defense here for years. It's here now where they are going to get after people and people are excited for it with the talent this D has. Vic Fangio had basically nothing and Colt and Texans fans hated his guts too. I love how you talk like you're better than homers here. You lived that life for about 95% of your message board tenure. This "I'll support my arguments with PFF stats and other message board members opinions" is comical. |
