It would be somewhat helpful to know how they arrived at the decision to cancel the game.

Were the teams not agreeable to getting it in this week?

Was this week ever on the table?

Since it couldn't get scheduled this week, did the overwhelming logistic challenges lead to the decision to cancel?

Seems like playing the game was the most ideal outcome, so how did we get to it not being played?

Obviously none of that matters but inquiring minds and such.

Let me guess that Vegas will be the neutral site because money.

Dude relax BOTH TEAMS BEAT KC. This scenario benefits the chiefs we get a bye and might play a game in a neutral site.

Sounds like AFC title game will be neutral site. That's better than the bullshit of forcing KC to be the road team. I do not like the idea of Indianapolis in the event of Cincy making it to that game. Cincy is less than 2 hours from the Indy stadium, which makes it less than neutral. KC & Buffalo are both 7 hours from Indy.

I just don't understand this neutral site thing. What is the point of that? What does it fix?

There is 1 game left to play. Are we assuming that the Bills win this week?

Absolutely.

And if the Chiefs win and the Bills lose this weekend, it just doesn't matter anymore and we can get the AFCCG at home.

Cry, cry, cry little girls. This is a fine solution to an imperfect problem. The Chiefs are hardly at some major disadvantage.

Most of you have been bitching enough about the team that you didn't even think we'd make the AFCCG and now we have a bye by virtue of a cancelled game.

Discuss Thrower 01-05-2023 08:21 PM

Henne time for Saturday. No sense risking Mahomes and Kelce for what is now a meaningless game.

Unreal.

Game on.

Yep. It's dumb, but I'm fine with it.

I’m glad they acknowledged the issue for the Ravens so they can potentially get a home game.

So you can quit your sanctimonious grandstanding bullshit act now.

If we beat the Raiders, I have a feeling the Bengals will beat the Bills and we will host the 5th straight AFCG...
