I wish we went for a bigger hitter (at least one who could actually hit often, not like Pollard). I don't think there's anyone who's really good at it though... ZBIKEIHTIHDOWOWSKI (from ND) seems a little overrated... and he bails on coverage a lot... Why can't we just find an Adrian Wilson clone? They should be a dime a dozen!

What I love is that we seem to actually have a plan. We're not seeing any panic picks or wackiness, just a methodical approach to making the most of this draft. We went BPA with Dorsey, the trade to get Albert was an absolute bargain, Flowers fits like a glove, and this third round was all about BPA.

After Ellis, the cupboard was bare at DE. So we didn't take one. Simple and elegant.

Yeah,I am not really sure what the lions are doing

Green Bay has to be salivating to get King at the end of the third.

With the additions of Flowers and Morgan, it's obvious Herm is trying to bring in players that have some swagger and an attitude. These are guys that are going to come up and smack you in the mouth, then let you know about it.

I love it, this team needs an attitude and guys that will push back.

That defense has Dorsey Flowers and Morgan now.....those are all guys with confidence that play with attitude.

The TE picked was kinda surprising, but even then, I think it's a good 3rd round.... I was hoping we'd draft a RB somewhere. What happens if LJ gets hurt again? We'll be stuck with Kolby Smith, and Kolby Smith. You can't do that again. We needed to spend one of these picks on a RB that we think will contribute. And I like the Morgan pick. And at least the TE seems to have a load of potential, with so many picks, one or two picks like that doesn't kill me like it would if we had one 3rd rounder. Best player available.

'Hamas' Jenkins 04-27-2008 09:14 AM

Oooh, Slaton. Not an every down back, but he's basically Felix Jones two rounds later.

Basileus777 04-27-2008 09:14 AM

Slaton to Houston, interesting pick.

Considering their draft who knows, who takes Jordy Nelson that high with their WR group?

chiefs1111 04-27-2008 09:15 AM

Slaton just went to the texans

More importantly, we have three new starters with our three defensive picks.
