He's more aggressive, offensively and defensively. He's not a good defender whatsoever.

Exactly! Graham should be the one bringing the ball up the court every time. Mason just isn't a natural PG. He's played so inconsistently over the past month it's frustrating.

Mason's assist rate is significantly higher. Much better passer.

Looks like the same old soft Perry to me (and the stats would seem to support that), but I'll admit that I'm biased in this regard.

Where's he going?

Self said they'd like to add two more players in this class.

That being said, if Mason leaves, who knows?

Selden?

Mason has way too much fun off the court. Has two baby mamas now. Word is he has to start paying and taking care of them and he's likely going to try to do that professionally in some capacity.

No coincidence his play has been shitty. He parties too much. It wasn't the OU game like some have naively believed.

Mason has been painfully bad the last month.

Wondering if maybe he's banged up.

If he continues to play the way he's currently playing -- good riddance!

Although I think he'd have a pretty great senior campaign.

Leave it to Greene to dunk it.

KC_Connection 02-03-2016 10:16 PM

Did Greene just score at the buzzer? Amazing. LMAO

Some KU fans are so spoiled it's pathetic. Yea, KU isn't playing dominant hoops lately. And yeah, unless things change I don't expect KU to go far in the tourney. Still, to say KU has been playing terrible is just reeruned. They played terrible in at OSU, especially the 2nd half. They played bad in the 2nd half at ISU, but were pretty good in the first half. They didn't play well at WVU but they didn't play terrible. Terrible would be if they lost by 30-40. I guess by KU standards they were bad. Still. hyperbole does no good to help your argument. And that game against OU they played great. OU played well and KU played well.

I read something about him dealing with an injury last week. In any case, it's no coincidence that the team has gone to shit as he has.

Yup. They'll go as far as he wants to take them in March.

He IS the toughest guy on the team.

If so, who is gonna be our backup to Graham next year? Ugh

Sorry, but KU is nowhere near as good a team as OU is right now. Stating that fact (and it's a fact, I could easily post the ORtg and DRtg stats and KenPom/Sagarin/Massey ratings supporting that) doesn't make me spoiled, it makes me realistic. If this were a month ago, I might think differently. But January happened.

I'd see Graham, Selden and Svi as the primary ball handlers. And maybe a guy they sign.
