Gonna have a hard time selling me on him being so unmanageable that his production wasn't worth it. I've got an absolute piece of shit working for me right now, but he makes me so much money I wouldn't dream of letting him go. I deal with his bullshit, and cash my checks.

Come on man, use your head here. You know better. Do you let go a perennial all pro shut down CB who is responsible for 24 turnovers with 15 of those being INTs in 3yrs IF that cancer is in stage 1 ? Nope. But the majority of cancers in stage 4 result in death. Ironic MP was in his 4th year and IMHO also a stage 4 cancer in the locker room as well that was a lost cause not because accepted treatment wasn't working BUT because he chose NOT to accept any kind of treatment for his cancer from stage 1 all the way through his stage 4 tenure here in KC.

You cut out the cancer at every turn when given the opportunity because it eventually kills you and your team in the final end.

Obviously your POS employee is in stage 1 and is accepting tx of some sort.:D

If him getting traded got leaked, why didn't the compensation? That usually happens as well.

This is exactly why I’m not buying that.

The headliner of the trade was leaked, so why would the NFL draw the line at leaking the compensation?

Because the NFL apparently stepped in an warned both teams that if compensation was leaked, they'd both be fined and lose draft picks.

I think this is the last year we hear of leaks like this in the Dead Period because the NFL is going to fine the shit out of teams that do it.

I mean, ****!, I'm still pissed that the Chiefs lost a 3rd and a 6th for Maclin, which made Dorsey go all haywire, trading up and down, trying to recover that lost 3rd rounder.

The result was a shit draft. KeiVarie Russell, their 3rd round pick didn't make it out of camp, DJ White's was cut last year, Robinson sucks, as does Eric Murray.

Draft picks are Gold for GM's.

Everything about it screams that he hasn't learned much from his dismissal from Philadelphia

Why do fans believe Pioli was gonna be safe after 2012?

Hunt cares about PR. With the seats empty and a murder suicide on top of a 2-14 season, a house cleaning was guaranteed. The banner didn't change anything

If they haven't finalized the deal?

No team is supposed to "leak" or announce any type of trade during the Dead Period.

Teams can release players on their roster and announce it, they can sign guys off the street, meaning players that weren't under contract for the previous season but teams cannot announce terms of trades made during the Dead Period.

Chargem 02-25-2018 11:54 AM

I just realized this possibly puts a different slant on the Amerson signing... was he signed as depth???

When was the last time a trade was consummated and announced before the new League Year opened?

Totally agree. If they're really cracking down on it that much, I'm surprised it even leaked that Peters was traded.

Another reason it makes no sense

the Chiefs won't for sure because they don't want to get Troy Vincented again as the rest of the league saw them lose a 3rd. McVay doesn't want this either.

They're not going down that road, again.

What others?

I can't recall any time in recent NFL history when a team made trades that were publicly announced during the NFL's "Dead Period".

How do you know they were warned? If true, funny how ****ed KC gets by the NFL when all other teams leak shit

It was clearly the Rams that leaked the info, not the Chiefs.

Their tweet confirms it.
