Alright then. Literally being told by multiple people to go away now. You can't say I didn't show up. And believe me that I have no interest in being here. I have fulfilled my duty and am released.

He simply doesn't do it. Give him credit for being able to avoid a rush and complete passes 5 seconds after the snap but don't ever try to shove 'he's becoming a good pocket passer' up my ass.

Yep, and you have to design the offense around receivers running open on their own... and teams without a good pass rush will struggle because he'll kill you on the ground or can sit back and wait for someone to be college open and rainbow one in.

Not sure how anyone wouldn't be able to see it unless you literally watch no other quarterbacks in the league, including the ones the Ravens face every week.

They've created an offense that can beat 10-win teams every week, but they're better off doing what the Bills did last weekend and apparently what the Chiefs were doing today, and then taking some shots here and there, and letting the defense win games.

Congrats. Every high-leverage play went against the Ravens, but the Chiefs did that and deserve credit.

I think the matchup that determined the game was the Chiefs’ front winning against the Ravens’ o-line in the first half, which I didn’t see coming. It wasn’t as pronounced in the second half, but by then the Ravens had to run an offense they don’t normally. If I’m trying to find a silver lining as a Ravens fan, it’s that this was the first year in Monken’s scheme and they should have more answers in the future.

The Chiefs’ offensive efficiency makes the margin for error razor thin for the other guys. That's the advantage a team like the Chiefs have with the stability of their offensive system under Reid. The combination of a QB who makes all of the right plays and a playcaller with a bottomless bag of plays is next level.

The calls the refs made were pathetic. Any time the flags are that lopsided, especially when those penalties are for personal fouls that could be called on literally every play, you’re doing something wrong. But they didn’t determine the game, so that’s not an excuse.

We’ll be back here. Our franchise’s history proves that. There was definitely enough juice in this game to see it becoming a rivalry, but there needs to be relative parity for a real rivalry, and the Ravens haven’t shown they can beat the Chiefs with consistency yet. So until proven otherwise, the conference runs through you guys. I would wish you good luck in the super bowl, but I wouldn’t mean it. ggs.

I'm sorry, but you'll never win anything with Lanar. That's just the way it is. Excusing an horrific turnover, all teams will gameplan against him. And teams such as the Chiefs, will win every time, oh sure, they might get beat in the regular season by 3-4 points...but guess what? When things are grim, just call the grim reaper. :deevee:

I also told you turnovers were random...the Chiefs were due for some after missing those breaks ALL season.

Chiefs have the best defense, HC, DC, and QB just like I said....you don't bet against that

You're kidding right. Our missed 4th down conversion. Kelce coming up itches short on the third down. The dropped Bolton interception. Are you ****ing kidding me?

BWillie is always wrong! All the pundits were predicting both teams to score over 20. Not the sourcerer BWillie.

Frazod 01-28-2024 06:55 PM

I've said this before - the Ravens are a sexier version of the 90s Chiefs. Lots of regular season dominance, fall down and go boom in the playoffs.

HOW'S OMENIHU?????

IowaHawkeyeChief 01-28-2024 06:57 PM

All they wanted to talk about was the Ravens blowouts. This is the reason we don't blow people out regularly. Andy plays the game to its strengths. Drove some of us crazy in the second half, but he managed the game with our defense balling out. If it would have gotten to 1 score we would have had to be aggressive again.

It was year one in that scheme, so they'll just run it back with tweaks to account for what happened in this game. Really don't see much blame here, they lost to the team with the best shot at being the dynasty of this generation, it happens.

Respect for coming back after the loss. Good game!

I'm guessing done. Non contact injury, maybe a patella or spraind torn ACL... I hope not.

Bottom line he’s not a QB at all

Monken is getting hired somewhere as HC.... That's the way this works.
