I think we trade him for a few prospects. Girardi is sweating in NY and might push for a move.

Your boy DDJ has been riding the bench tonight. Just like Monday. And we put up a bunch of runs...again....

He better get his shit together

Your attempt at sarcastic humor is starting to bordrline the not-so-funny and close to fighting words.

Just watch yourself.....:grr:

Hey ESPN, has Zack done enough yet for you to put the Royals on TV when he pitches on a Wednesday night, or do you want to sit out a few more starts to make sure this isnt some fluke?

Yea, what kind of a matchup would the best pitcher in the league vs. the best offense in the league be?

alnorth 04-29-2009 09:12 PM

8th inning

Top 8th

David DeJesus replaces Crisp and comes in at RF

Maier moves to CF

Jamey Wright relieves Greinke

Hill reaches on an Error by SS
Rios singles to right, Hill to third
Bautista grounds into a 6-4-3 double play, Rios out at second, Hill scores
Lind strikes out (swinging)

1 run, 1 hit, 1 error

Bottom 8th

Bill Murphy relieves Frasor

Maier flies out to center
Butler flies out to right
Jacobs pops out to second

0 runs, 0 hits

petegz28 04-29-2009 09:12 PM

God damn Pena, arm a little limp there?

KcMizzou 04-29-2009 09:12 PM

Nice to see Butler break out tonight...

I'm rooting for him.

He's already shut down the 2 top offenses in the league this year (Toronto and Texas). I just hope he maintains this shit, unlike last year. He could have a Cy Young year.

VonneMarie 04-29-2009 09:22 PM

LOL @ run Billy, run. LMAO

I think the fact that giving up either streak (innings without a run, starts without an earned run) didn't phase him at all, says a lot.

The kid's just got ice in his veins. When he says he doesn't think about all that... I believe him. His play shows it.

He'll have a bad game at some point, sure... but I don't think it'll hurt his confidence. Not at this point...
