Buster Hymen literally thinks he is the type of poster desired by the forum...well I guess that would be a forum full of no football talk and just talk about how the other posters suck.

Lose it? Over a forum?

I never lose it for one and for 2 I swear when I talk I know that's lost on some of the older posters.

This is true.

After the Cassel trade, I watched every Patriot replay that the NFL Network played over the offseason, and offered up opinions on what I saw, much of which was positive.

But anytime I raised a concern, I got hit with some shit about how I wanted Sanchez.

It was pure unadulterated bull.

I never once in the two or three months after the trade brought up Sanchez's name in my discussions of Cassel.

It was always the anti Sanchez crowd.

You have been, no doubts. But we did have a disagreement with Leinart though, IIRC.

Still, I'm not going to hash it. You know I give you flack now and then when it comes to college football, but you also should be aware that I do respect your opinion, even if I disagree with it.

And most of them have done so because they are obsessed with proving the front office wrong for having passed on Sanchez. While nobody would directly say they want Cassel to fail, there are many posters who have come to the point where they are rooting for Sanchez to be better than Cassel merely as an "I told you so."

I just wish people would stop obsessing so much about a QB that's not on our team and start focusing on the QB that is. I think Cassel has shown some really encouraging things so far. And he's shown some areas he needs to greatly improve. And everyone agrees that he would improve markedly with better talent surrounding him--how much better remains to be seen.

Hard to argue with this

I think that Pioli would prefer to get a foundation set in here where when we are in a position that we need to develop a long term starter, we have the luxury of drafting a guy and letting him sit for the year. This team isn't there yet...

prolly ... i think Pioli is looking loooooooooong term.

Cassel is here while we get the boat righted so we can draft/develop a QBotF on our own terms.

Claims sans evidence=nothing.

You're just a homeless man's mikey2345. A guy who only shows up to rip on other posters and offers absolutely no analysis. And you are neither as insightful or interesting as he is.

Basileus777 10-18-2009 07:54 PM

Sanchez played like utter shit today and any attempt to say otherwise is sophistry. That said, he's a ****ing rookie. You can't take any serious measure of him as a player from 6 games.

Ah yes not posting for awhile is obviously losing it, so much so I got a ginormous thread made about me.
