Where there's smoke, there's fire. There seems to be consistency in some of the charges and not even all the girls are actually pressing charges or demanding attention. Seems like Big Ben's a big fan of just randomly whipping his dick out and stalking girls.

Big Ben had a picture taken years ago hammered off his ass with a "Drink like a champion today" shirt, which has become pretty famous on the net. Pretty significant, since it seems like most incidents have involved drinking. And pretty creepy behavior that followed. But I suppose lacerations of the vagina, that's pretty normal shit.

And then there's this. You're being charged for rape in Vegas. Maybe it's a BS case, which is how most people interpreted it. But you have to be a ****ing idiot to be under that kind of scrutiny, and then have a night orchestrated around getting girls publicly drunk and then having bodyguard's protect a bathroom while Big Ben has sex in it.

It's not so much the personal behavior as much as it is his complete lack of common sense.

Yeah, I guess I was asking whether Dane has heard more than what has already been widely reported in the news.

Yeah, I saw that. Thanks.

I think you're right that he's probably irredeemable. Hopefully he'll go to the Raiders and then get himself kicked out of the NFL or something.

Well, I don't wish any ill-will upon anyone but I do think that he's got a serious problem that's hidden by his money and celebrity.

I just hope that it doesn't happen again. For everyone's sake.

LJ was run out of town because he treated the fans like shit (or at least appeared to have no interest in pleasing the fans) and because he wasn't productive. He wouldn't have been run out of town for his troubles with the ladies if he was still running for 1500+ yards per season and especially not if he would have made an effort to connect with the fans.

Just throwing this out there.

This place was almost universally in the "everyone deserves a second chance" club when it came to Michael Vick - who was charged and convicted of his crimes.

This place is still butthurt about trading Jared Allen, who people seemed to have no problem giving a second, third and fourth chance - again, for crimes he was charged and convicted for.

Seems to me that people are all for giving people a second chance, provided they like said person.

And FTR, I'm indifferent. He's not on my team, so until he is, I'm not going to get concerned over it. However, I'm not a big fan of people throwing around the word "rapist" when the man wasn't even charged with rape, much less convicted.

How about Big Ben has already used his second chance for (alleged)sexual assault card?

For all the things that I disagree with you on..... this is one thing that I completely agree on. I really figured you would be on the 'bring him in, I don't care what he did' bandwagon. Glad to see that you have a good perspective on this.

I am sure that means a lot to you, coming from me:)

IMO, dogfighting and drunk driving are a few rungs down the ladder from rape, which is basically what the accusations against BR amount to.

Besides, I don't think there are many people arguing that BR should be banned from the NFL for life so it seems like people are willing to give him a second chance (although if he were to be convicted, that might change).

Like I told OTW there is some truth to the fact that when LJ started sucking alot more people started to hate the guy. But I know for a fact alot of Chief fans absolutely hated the guy for his actions. I used to listen to talk radio religiously and people would constantly bash LJ and call him a thug and a criminal.

As far as him treating fans like crap I really don't remember hearing much about that and that wasn't the experience I had with him. I went to TC 4 years in row and never once had a bad experience with LJ. He almost always signed autographs but admittedly he sometimes wasn't in the best of moods. On the other hand one of the supposedly nice guys on the team, Tony G, always treated the fans like complete shit.

Sexual deviancy isn't something that's likely to go away anytime soon.

And for the record, I seriously can't believe some of the people that would trade for this human piece of dogshit. You must not know a ****ing thing about his personal life or believe that a person can actually be a drunk ****ing asshole and still be a good QB.

If the Chiefs traded for him, I wouldn't watch them or support them until he was gone.

**** him.

Good. See you later, bro.

Yeah, I was thinking more about how he came across in interviews and other public relations settings than how he came across in one-on-one interactions. He seemed aloof, self-centered, moody, and not too thrilled to be in KC (similar to Steve Bono on this last count) whereas TonyG was always smiling and came across as happy to be here and gregarious.

It is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to prove rape when alcohol is involved. It's a small town with few financial resources. They made a decision to not take the case to trial because they couldn't win.

That does NOT exonerate BR from any wrongdoing.

JFC, Mecca, wake up.

wow...1.6 huh...that's impressive...I thought I was doing good when I hit 0.25...
