I've been on a date with my wife tonight. Don't know what happened here but I support the actions of the mod team. Let me also say that mods are always going to err on the side of solid community contributors here - people who are decent human beings and treat others with respect. So, if you're a dick and a troll here don't be shocked and dismayed when mods are "picking on you".

Yeah ... I'm a tad unclear on the rules. Mr. Hootie gets banned, yet R8ers (or whatever his name is) gets to stick around.

Why did Hootie get banned some months back? What was the exact transgression? Also, what did R8ers just do to get banned?

And as far as I know, R8ers is not banned.

Hootie was banned after being given very specific instructions not to violate a trust and reveal personal details shared in confidence... He was told very clearly that he would be banned if he did so. He did it anyway and was banned. He was allowed back a few weeks ago with the understanding he was on a short leash. Didn't work out, obviously.

You guys keep talking about Hootie all you like. The mod team is done with it.
