Blah, blah, blah. Every reporter claims they know what Pioli is going to do, and none of them are ever correct. How many of these guys who are now suddenly hearing X, Y, Z broke the story about Haley being fired before it was announced by the team?

IMO, last weeks "leak" to the press was in anticipation of this happening and finding out who had loose lips.

Expect that Matt Cassel will be the only viable QB in the roster next year.

Expect that Scott Pioli will continue to do business the way he's always done it.

And expect Clark Hunt to allow it all to happen.

Cassel is the problem. What you cassel fans are forgetting is he wasn't very effective in the games he played either. Fine I'll throw you a bone bring him back but can we get a real QB if he fails once again?

The bigger problem is that Jackson was picked at all. I get what you're saying, though. Once that pick was made, pouting & whining didn't help.

If we had a legit QB I would have no problem with that. Riley Rieff would make a great right tackle in the NFL. And going into year 4, this would be the expected type of pick.
