I wonder what the relationship between Haley and Pioli would be like in the alternate universe where Denver and Josh McDaniels acquired Cassel instead of us.

The same, most likely.

Cassel doesn't make Haley any more or less of an idiot than he already is.

That's a list that kinda disproves your statement, buddy.

Yeah, and the endless list of used up receivers that were ran through KC the the previous two years. It was almost comical and like no other position mattered, but they have a fine group of receivers now.

Cassel makes you stand pretty much no chance unless your comming off an 18-1 season and you have a damned good defense, ooh but you still fail to make the play offs.

once you get no qb, your doomed to fail.

I've seen it. Somebody please tell me where he threw the Chiefs organization under the bus. Worse thing he said all night was that the 49ers are last year's Chiefs. He did ask the other people on the panel whether they believed he should be fired, which they saved him from by saying they would answer off camera. Herm threw his coaches and players under the bus every week.

The biggest statement of the night was from Keyshon, a former player of his, who stated that if Todd had a QB, he would not be on the panel.

The simple fact is that he slipped up TWICE and referred to HIMSELF as a member of the Chiefs.

So if he was throwing the Chiefs under the bus, he was throwing himself under there with them.

I didn't even take that 49ers comment to be a knock against the Chiefs. I took it to mean that there's a team who was crap the previous year which came out of nowhere to be the surprise team that was winning a division.

Although it should be pointed out that everyone using the QB issue as an excuse for Haley should look at the job Harbaugh is doing with a QB who got two other head coaches fired...

 stay in DC

Please put links to those sources. Especially the one where Pioli tried to force McDaniels on Haley.

Oh, and I wonder why McDaniels is rumored to be a possibility if Clark stepped in and said no to him last year after what happened in Denver.

The logic is lacking in that argument.

Your logic is lacking on everything, dumbass.

Well said, and I agree. But to finish the point, it is also Pioli's first time of being in this position, and I feel Clark has pointed out to him how he has ****ed up, and what he needs to change. The locked doors coming unlocked I think is a good example of that.

Of course, I have always been a glass half full kind of person. Hopefully he starts doing things right, sooner than later.

That's my impression too. He looked like he got his ass chewed the **** out. The fact that the Chiefs are lifting some of their secrecy is a positive sign that Pioli's learning that he doesn't walk on water anymore.

Thanks for showing that. I wanted to see it. Haley does a good job.

JCharles1981 12-18-2011 02:52 AM

Todd Haley, Keyshawn Johnson, Trent Dilfer, and Jerry Rice; which of these don't belong? Here's a hint: three of these guys are has-beens, and the other is a true legend.
