I love me a good taco pizza. Maybe this thread is not for me.

There is a place in Irvington (suburb of omaha), nicknamed Mangina. You'll never go anywhere else

Pizza hut had a pan crust stuffed crust pizza version for a bit where instead of filling the outer crust with cheese, they'd add that cheese layer on top. Meant you got all the deliciousness of the thick, greasy, doughy, pan crust in addition to that lovely mozarella breadstick effect for the outer crust. Used to get it with ground beef or pepperoni and pineapple, weekly.
Also, back in Atlanta, Johnny's New York Style Pizza made an italian calzone so mouth-wateringly greasy, it would eat through the cardboard pizza box by the time my 3 minute ride back to the office was over. |

Local fave is Minsky's or D'Bronx (depends on the mood I'm in). Best pizza anywhere - to me - would be a pizza from New Haven CT. New York Pizza is great (it's the water!) but I worked w/a guy from Wallingford CT, he swore their New Haven style pizza was the best anywhere. I went there and tried it - and I think he was right. YMMV, but if you ever get to Connecticut, eatsa pizza!

Gotta be Canadian Bacon and Sauerkraut Pizza. It is simply the best.

“If properly dried and trimmed, New York-style pizza could be used to make a box for Chicago-style pizza. I love a slice when I'm in NYC, but it's like eating a Slim Jim compared with a filet mignon. One slice of Gino's East stuffed sausage pizza is a bigger meal than an entire New York pie.”
