No, he has a 24-game history of being a winner thanks to the #2 defense and a top 10 running game.

QBs who are 2-27-1 against teams that score 24 or more for their career are not winners. They are benefactors of surrounding talent.

YOU my friend know what is what!!!! Alex is mediocre at best and has mental yes mental issues....timid, scared checkdowns....he basically sucks....24 points is not that much in the NFL anymore so if our Defense can't hold its lights out....2-14 may be possible again...And if Alex gets in a slump it could get very grimm with his victim mentality ... 10 th Coordinator coming up!!!! OH MY

That would make this move much worse...

Well at least WE did not invest 60MILLION like the 49ers did.....they really got reamed on that dude....hopefully KHARMA will get this FO and SMITH in the end.:reaper:

Yeah, because the Chiefs have a solid history of drafting, especially in the second round

No, we learned our lesson from the last $60M+ investment on a shitty ****ing QB. Right?

Ohh Wait...... I forgot that we actually picked up $16M worth of Alex's shitty contract. Plus those draft picks.

I didn't realize that the actual compensation has been verified.

It's going to be a long 11 days...

At least they fulfilled your dream of drafting Tyson Jackson, as you had been on that bandwagon 6 months before it happened.

Like Junior Siavii? Kris Wilson? Eddie Freeman? Dexter McCluster? Javier Arenas? William Bartee? Patrick Surtain trade?

Those guys?

What? Are smoking crack?

Are you so old that you've forgotten 2009? Or have you decided to talk out of your ass?

Unfortantly, its going to be another long 3-4 years not just 11 days...

Winners do not allow the culture of losing to continue to be a mainstay.

Mr. Laz 03-01-2013 03:34 PM

compensation will make a huge difference

If we really gave the 49ers a 1st and 3rd for Smith(or more) then we got royally ****ed. Not only did we get screwed in the trade but it also means that we are making a long term commitment to Alex Smith which is probably even worse than getting screwed in the trade.

now if ... we are swapping 2nd rounders and have reasonable comp pick situation next year then it's much more palatable and it could mean that Alex Smith is only going to finish his current contract out here and we could move on.

Huge difference all the way around.
