Even funnier yet is that you even had a pep rally.

The operating character there is "9".

Greatest accomplishment in the history of sport? Possibly.

Both teams are lucky. Could have gone 100% either way. In fact, if OSU doesn't lose in Ames the week before, we have a three way tie for Big 12 Champions. Then what's the argument? Do we really want a tie-breaker?

K-State, beat OSU for outright... you didn't.
KU, beat Baylor for outright... you didn't.
OSU, beat ISU and KSU... you didn't.

This is what happens. You want a tie breaker, KU is champs. You want a conference rule that says, "if you lose to the suckiest team once in regular season, you can not be champion"? I would say careful what you wish for.

I just continue to laugh at people who try and rationalize why KSU is co-champs when they all went ballistic at OU trying to pull the same act on them. Fact: the rules say there are co-champs, and they set it up for unbalanced schedules (football and the former hoops slate). They left it in place, so KSU gets a share.

So that's what makes it so funny this year - all the teeth gnashing when KU-MU shared the North in 2007 football, OU shared the Big 12 with KSU in 2012 football, or the KU "ties" in hoops. They all went batshit about those. Now? We must accept the logic of it all!

Montana winning 2 playoff games for KC...

Why is that funny? We are celebrating something we haven't accomplished in 36 years. Break out the Champagne!

not as ridiculous as when Roy cut down the nets with 4 games to go because they clinched a share of the title.

I think I'm going to start refering to KSU as "Blue Mont Central College"

No more hypocritical than KU fans counting 3 shared titles when they lost to the teams they shared with, and then trying to minimize K-State's share this year for the very reason they ignored in their own situations.

We didn't get swept by those teams we shared with... minor detail.

They continue to make the same mistake over and over. I think they are either insane or dumb, I cannot decide which. 3-46 has really destroyed their sense of self worth.

As a KU fan I can certainly be impressed with KSU's achievement this year. Just have had a great season and I expect a decent tourney run as well.

You just lose some cred with me when you bring up the officials and act like there is some conspiracy going on. The fact that it took a desperation 27 foot jumper from EJ and two free throws to tie it up should show you that if there was a conspiracy, they did a bad job of it.

If that minor detail makes a difference in a tie situation, then I suppose we'll acknowledge it. In the mean time..........
