I have no idea if Geno Smith will ever be any good, but I do know it will be fun to bump his threads In a few years.

That said, I drove all over this town to find a sports bar to watch the Chiefs on a 13" TV back in the 90's. I went to some incredible sports bars late in the 90's and early 2000's but was relagated to a 19" TV with a few toothless Missourians (no joke). Fortunately, I've had Direct TV since 2003 and have spent literally tens of thousands on their service, just so I can have the Sunday Ticket and watch the Chiefs in the comfort of my own home. The 5.1 sound and 65" LCD hasn't hurt, either. |

I like going to games, loses suck, wins are awesome. We also have STL Cardinals season tickets and it's a whole different feelling/thought process in regards to those and a franchise that has gone above and beyond to put a winner on the field. |

Tuff choice vs Alex Smith Chiefs tickets |
And as much as we would like it to be, I don't see Arrowhead ever being what it once was. With technology and the feel around town, people just don't care as much.
If they start winning consistently obviously things would change, but even then, it's getting to be non economical. |

He did an interview on 810 and played dumb when the host asked him to comment upon the top 2 QBs in the draft. ***** played dumb to the question, even though anyone with a hint of common sense knew whom the host was referring to. *****: "The....top 2........QBs........???????????????????" This mother****er was shockingly stupid and arrogant. He would not have drafted a QB. No ****ing chance. Guaranteed. |

KC would go nuts if we had a 13 win season again. |

I recently added a 42" LED LCD and a Samsung "7.1" soundbar and wireless subwoofer to my "man cave" during the playoffs this January. Good times ahead. |

For all this blathering about "Super Bowl", the numbnuts around here have seem to forgotten that Arrowhead has been a stomping ground for visiting teams for half a decade. The Raiders, of all ****ing teams, have OWNED the Chiefs at Arrowhead. Baby steps would be nice. BIG baby steps, but baby steps, nonetheless. |
