If Perry leaves, KU's front court will be so meh. Which ever freshman and Mari/Landen/Mickelson. Shoot me.

Why not? Another year of not missing any serious time, workin on his defense and outside game, vs potentially going undrafted. To me that screams 4 year player.

He's seriously considering leaving.

Recruiting Thorne makes sense then. Would he fill Perry's spot then? Bragg, Ingram or Brown, Diallo and Thorne?

As humorous as our "frankenstein" lineup of newcomers and odd pieces could look, it's pretty stunning how many guys the top-10 teams are losing this year. We gain ground simply by losing less talent.

Rick Pitino is scouring under every rock for scholarship guys. Arizona might need a new starting 5. Kentucky might be back to 2013 depths. Duke will have nothing (not like they care obv). For Ol Rust Shack, it might actually be his year.

Honestly I think Diallo is going to Iowa State or Kansas, and with us losing our coach to St Johns who was our lead recruiter on him that hurts And he's waiting to see who all the teams in his top 5 lose. I THINK he wants to attend the same school as Yakwe(even if they are different years, but they share the same guardian)Kentucky is the only team in his top five not to offer both. Just don't see him going to Pitt.

By the way, Happy Anniversary everyone. Best game and sports moment of my life, that and 88. Mario Chalmers and 07-08 team...I love you. And thank you KU basketball for preventing me from committing sports suicide. Without you I would've never experienced a championship. Without you I'd know what it feels like to be a Mizzou fan, and that's miserable. Sorry MU, truth hurts bros lol.

He swung heavy to St. John's last week when all that went down but they simply don't have the infrastructure at this moment to land that level of recruit.

Experts have him leaning to KU at the moment.

Yeah a lot of people were leaning Iowa State, then switched to St. John when our lead recruiter went to St. John. We also lost a really good commit from it too.

No ****ing way. Calling BS on that. As much as I'd love to see him out of the program next year, Perry Ellis isn't going to the NBA. LMAO

Yeah, I can't come up with one good reason as to why he'd leave school right now. He's no 1st rounder and there's a pretty good chance he wouldn't even be drafted.

Silock 04-07-2015 10:25 PM

I'm torn. He's not good enough to go, and he can certainly help us score inside if we get a defensive presence to balance him out. But if we don't, I'd rather him go and be rid of his soft mentality.

I can't even fathom a scenario in which he'd decide to leave, so I'm not getting my hopes up.

What the hell man? Thats a terrible decison for Perry. His stock isnt going down like Seldens or possible Oubres if he would have stayed. Bes an established player that has no where to go but up. HUGE diff between 1st & 2nd rd. If he has an epic senior year like we all expect him too, he could be a 1st round pick. Im quite baffled hes even thinking about it

BWillie 04-08-2015 01:38 AM

I am thoroughly confused that Linardi has us a 3 seed next year. This will be a heady veteran team assuming Perry is still here. There is virtually no way they dont get at least a 2seed, and they have a shot at the 2nd #1 seed behind Virginia. This team is going to be really good if they vet a rim protector like Diallo, or let Mickelson play instead of Jamari Traylor
