Not really. They are protecting the local tv deals that are paying big bucks.

Well they don't bother me here so I don't care much. But blackouts in general are stupid when you pay for something like mlbtv. You should be able to watch what you want on there.

There is a workaround for the MLB.tv blackouts. It's called an unlocator. There is a version simply called unlocator but there are free alternatives as well. It tricks the streaming service into thinking you're in a different location, thereby unlocking the content. Definitely recommended if you use the service. It was a no brainer for me...if I'm paying $25 a month for something, I'd better be able to actually use it.

Wouldn't getting the Extra Innings package be the way to go?
