Smith had a bad INT in the EZ, the first of its kind in 3 seasons. Your point?

I'm curious to why you even watch games if you're going to be miserable like the other deplorables of CP...the whiny kids who are still moping that Clay is banned.

Thanks for the reply.

the offense scores about 10% is that the D's fault
and I think Sutton is an idiot

all the great D plays came not on game planning but players going for it

Here's a post from an intellectual poster. If you can't understand what he's saying either ask your mom to explain or quit watching football.

The offense didn't play poorly, it just never got a chance to play because the defense shit the bed. Their offense was almost exactly as successful as the average offense to face the Bucs this year on a per drive, per play basis. The problem is that our D couldn't get off the field and give the offense the drives it needed to operate.

If you find yourself on the same side of an argument with a guy who thinks Maclin has no impact on this offense, you have intellectual issues.

Shut off the computer, save yourself the embarrassment.

If you want to be taken seriously you could acknowledge that Smith is having his worst season as a Chief, and that unless his play vastly improves, this team will be in for a one and done in the postseason at best

The only stat that matters.

The only stat that really matters.

Read below. Yards do not equal wins. Efficiency, ball protection is all that matters to the guys who are making the millions.

If you want to treat football like fantasy football, then you are clueless.

Alex Smith since 2015:

In Wins: 194 YPG, 23 TDs, 6 INTs

In Losses: 258 YPG, 6 TDs, 5 INTs

More passing = more yards = more losses in this case.

Let the game manager be a game manager until the day comes that the Chiefs get a franchise QB.

Find me one post where I have said he's having a good/great season. I'll wait.

Pre determined throw? Does anyone have a clip of the eligible receivers not running routes and looking for the ball?

No. Smith will be above average on the QBR but not high, he's not intended to be a high production QB. Reid trusts Smith cause he can run a WCO and he doesn't make stupid decisions often. This offense relies heavily on a productive run game, quick high completion passes to maintain efficiency and maintaining the turnover differential with good ball protection. We are currently ranked 1st in the TO differential at +13

If you look at past years:

Carolina was #1 in turnover in 2015 and coasted into the SB.*
New England's won the Superbowl with the #2 ranked turnover differential
Seattle was ranked #1 in 2013 (wins SB) and ranked #3 in 2014 in turnover differential (another SB appearance)

But for any of this TO differential to even matter, the offense needs to get its shit together in red zone TD% and the defense needs to improve from being the 5th worst run defense in the league.
