I know it comes across that I’m defending Kareem but I’m not.

Im torn. Believe women. But this is fishy. If he lied he got what he deserved.

I’m just not 100% he lied. This happened in February and a young black man was released by Cleveland cops without charges (ever been to Cleveland?) because they found nothing to charge him with.

He was just back in Cleveland a few weeks ago and treated as a conquering hero by his high school and the locals as he scorched the Browns. Not one word was mentioned by the local media (or KC media for that matter) about this.

I’m sorry - flame me all you want it just feels, well, funky.

There was another incident with Hunt in June punching a dude.

Also, no video.

Agreed... If he wasn't an NFL player, he would be in jail.

We have no idea what environment KH was raised in, it might have been normal for him to be exposed to violence against women. It doesn't make it right. I think that unless we have been in the situation of a professional athlete, it's really difficult to comprehend what their life has been like from high school, college and beyond. Not making excuses for him however we really have no idea what it's been like to live in his shoes.

I hope he gets the help he apparently needs.

Hunt is an unreal football player but an asshole human being. He deserved to be cut. End of ****ing story.

We’d still have had Hunt for 2-3 more years probably. He’s a better receiver than Ware.

We lost tonight.

Stats prove that Ware is a better receiver. Now as a runner we need the Ware pre ACL injury where he was literally putting defenders on IR

JFC another dumbshit on full display.

If Kareem Hunt was completely honest with the Chiefs from the beginning about what happened, as Tyreek Hill’s situation shows, they probably would have given him a second chance.

Hill got a second chance and has been a success story... on/off the field.

Kareem Hunt was dishonest and apparently has had other altercations since the February incident.

I understand Hunt, from the Chiefs perspective, lied to the team.

But how can a team that cut Hunt still employ Hill?

Chiefs did not lose. We weren’t going to retain Hunt anyways. Ware is a better blocker and receiver. We have Mahomes. We rarely run the ball anyways. As long as we have Mahomes we will be in every game

Ware is a better receiver than Hunt?

Lying is held to a higher standard than domestic violence.

No, I don’t think it’s the only reason why necessarily. I just think Hill being on the roster almost makes it a necessity that they say it was largely due to ‘lies’ that they decided to immediately cut him.

This sucks. The Chiefs lost tonight, and Kareem Hunt lost the most.

If Hunt tells the truth he's still on this team until his rookie deal runs out. Even with the video. Because he would have been punished accordingly and that would've been that.

The tape is the smoking gun and I frankly don't give a shit he lied to the team. I care that he had tons of chances to get the **** out of that situation and didn't and did what he did.

The police had the tape though so if they deemed it not worthy then that really should be the end.

Because Hill was truthful. Because Hill stays home, takes care of his kid and plays Fortnite. Hill hasn’t been a repeat offender.

I wish these guys had the sense to walk away from drama.

It’s the easiest thing in the world to do. Well, it is for me, anyway.

You very well may be right, we’ll probably never know the full truth (like with Peters).

But the point still stands that this is a huge steaming dump on the chest of Chiefs Kingdom.
