I was kind of hopeful the Buccaneers would have fired their staff and be starting over. The offense regressed in the second half of every game. The defense got marginally better, but even having the league sack leader didn't lead to anymore wins.

They're not in the clear yet. McDaniels could always run back home to Momma Belichick after agreeing in principle to a deal
