It didn’t at the time because there was no reason to believe that was the case. I also didn’t know that he was asking or could get 30 ****ing mil per.

I’ve made it very clear that the Chiefs are worse off in the short term.

I said this gives them an opportunity to be better long term, which it absolutely does.

The only gotcha here is that I was wrong that he wouldn’t be traded. I’ll take my L there, as would most of us, since we pretty much all thought a trade was unlikely.

Not only was this guy off on the timing by a month, but he was off on the value by nearly 50%. Suffice it to say, he can go in the blackballed category for any supposed insider info in the future.
