Carr is clearly the worst QB in the division now.

Not at all. His numbers can be replaced by any decent TE. Especially with a better QB.

I'm honestly not 100% convinced that Fant is any better than Albert O.

To my eyes they're damn near identical players. Same strengths and weaknesses, largely the same productivity if pro-rated for snaps.

Losing Fant doesn't really hurt Denver that much.

Which is why anyone saying the Broncos got raped is clueless.

Russell is still good but he's not bringing DK and Lockett with him.

While Denver is stronger it also means Herbert gets 2 games against them as well.

KC plays better in must win games. All in all I hope this just makes Veach go get some guys we need.

Yep. KC slept walked through the Denver games. Now, maybe they'll take them seriously and in the process play their best.

I agree... the players can be replaced fairly easily, the R5 for a R4 is fine. Losing 2 R1 and 2R2 is a good price for a guy that's 33 and with his background. And, Denver still has a R2 pick this year with multiple R3 and R4 picks.

Could have been a lot worse.

I would have asked for Dre’Mont Jones, Justin Simmons and Teddy Bridgewater

Agreed. It was a fair trade. I'd have thought Seattle would have gotten more. If I'm Denver, I'm happy. Also, if I'm Denver, I'd rather have Wilson anyway. Definitely not as good short term, but much better over the long haul. Wilson might be able to give them 5-6 years of very good QB play. They'll be able to make up for the lost draft picks during that time. Rodgers likely would have not played as long or afforded them that same chance over time.

Debatable.

I think this is a good deal for Denver, even if they overpaid a bit. You have no chance without a good QB and Russ is a great fit for them.

I wonder what Seattle would take for Metcalf, Harris, Lockett or Sidney Jones.

**** Noah Fant. Quitting piece of shit.

Pretty accurate picture of Russell Wilson’s life as a Seahawk the last few years.

He has more playoff appearances than Suckbert.

An extension had to be included to give that much capital away.

The Seahawks allowed 46 sacks.

The Broncos allowed 40.

Cap ramifications: Russell Wilson was to count $37M in 2022. Seahawks save $11M in '22 and take on on $26M in dead money. Per @ESPNStatsInfo, that's the second-most dead money a team has ever incurred. Philly ate $33.8M in the Carson Wentz trade.
