I'd take Treylon Burks all day over him, and I didn't even like Burks that much going pro.

I would have been fine with Burks in the 2nd but didn't see him as a 1st round talent.
I wouldn't have taken Shenault in the first round either - maybe the 2nd, definitely the 3rd. Now seeing that half his rookie deal has been burned, I think a 4th is the absolute ceiling in terms of value and ultimately even then only because some team ahead of us in the draft order would give a 5th. I could probably tolerate that.
I see him being far more athletic and far more powerful than Landry. Not as consistent and definitely not as polished. But between the 2, I take Shenault's upside over Landry without blinking.
Honestly I don't see the comparison - they don't strike me as similar players at all.
