yep, that's where all the out of state electricians, first responders usually gather pre-storm. big parking lots to park their trucks. they stay there to get assignments, come back and shower, get a hot meal. they have cots covering the baseball field where they can get some shut eye.

The crane on top of this building fell off the top of the building onto another building last night. That’s the tallest building on the west side of Florida.

3:45am and my dumbass neighbor decides to fire up his generator :banghead:

Looks like the worst is over. I haven't been outside yet, but the house is in one piece.

Since it's too hot to sleep, I took a look around outside. Other than a few downed limbs, it looks like we made it through without any damage. Now I'll just sit here in the dark and wait until I can get the generator going at 7. At least I can pass the time watching YouTube videos
