Jeremy Mayfield Tells All About NASCAR, Brian France & More!

Daytona Beach, FL - During a two-part 90-minute unedited and uncensored interview with Captain Thunder on the weekly radio show "TWISTED METAL with Captain Thunder", Jeremy Mayfield opened up about his lawsuit with NASCAR, his battles with Brian France, Ray Evernham's affair with Erin Crocker, drug use in NASCAR, and much more.

Mayfield makes numerous accusations regarding France's management of NASCAR, including the black flag that was allegedly thrown on Mayfield during the 2006 Brickyard 400 when France was supposedly drunk on scotch. Mayfield also reveals who made the "Where Is Ray?" t-shirt that floated around the NASCAR garage while Evernham was dating Crocker.

CAPTAIN THUNDER: So, let's talk about Brian France a little bit. Your attorney has asked for France's divorce documents and tax returns, and you just eluted to the fact that you feel Brian France has it out for you - so what is in those documents that you are looking for?

Did you watch Mob Wives? Reminds me of a real-life version of Sopranos. Never in my life. ... These women are tough.

This is what the U.K had to say: Mob Wives gets off to a violent start as bank robber's wife Drita Davanzo chokes Renee Graziano.

And it isn’t just their words that are causing controversy as last nights episode saw Carla Facciolo undertaking a violent workout and a war of words between Renee Graziano and Drita Davanzo ended in blows during a night out.

Watch this scene:

<embed src="http://media.mtvnservices.com/mgid:uma:video:vh1.com:645620" width="512" height="319" wmode="transparent" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" flashVars="configParams=id%3D1662519%26vid%3D645620%26uri%3Dmgid%3Auma%3Avideo%3Avh1.com%3A645620" allowFullScreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" base="."></embed><div><a style="padding:0px 4px 0px 10px; font-family:Verdana,sans-serif; font-weight:bold; color:#

"A rat is someone who doesn't mind their ****ing business and gets involved with the cops," says Renee Graziano, daughter of Anthony "The Little Guy" Graziano, reputed consigliere of the Bonanno crime family.

"If you're a rat, you're not in my circle. Matter of fact, I'll make your life so ****ing miserable you won't be able to hang out in anybody's circle."

"That's me, bitch," she adds. "Call me a Mafia princess, call me anything you want."

"I beat up a lot of ****ing people," boasts Drita D'avanzo, who grew up in a strict Albanian household and was disowned when she married reported Bonanno soldier Lee D'avanzo.

The show revolves around the return of Karen Gravano, 38 -- daughter of Sammy "Bull" Gravano, the infamous mob turncoat who took down John Gotti and the Gambino crime family -- to Staten Island after living for years with her father in the witness protection program.

"**** Sammy The Bull. **** John Gotti. I'm gangster and I'm coming home,"

"Do you want a shot?" Gravano asks the intoxicated Graziano.

"Shot's a bad ****ing word for you," Graziano snaps. "What I believe is what your father did was ****ing wrong and it destroyed a lot of ****ing families."

Don't know if it was the motivation to do so at the time, but reconfiguring this track to the current 3/4 mile D shape almost certainly saved the place from North Wilkesboro-like oblivion. The old 1/2 mile oval was just boring, without any of the quirks that kept Martinsville and Bristol around.

I forgot what went down with North Wilkesboro -- I think it had something to do with Bruton Smith... I'm not sure... or NASCAR...

Yeah, it might have been one of those "buy the track just to get the Cup dates" deals, but it was still a shitty track IMO.

Old Dog 04-30-2011 06:14 PM

Kahne is looking tough right now, but I wonder if he's gonna end up using up his tires and/or brakes too early.
The #48 is only a few spots from going a lap down, so a phantom caution coming out woulndn't be a huge suprise.

Hamlin is already up to 2nd as well.

Clearly, he was driving in a straight line. Montoya thought he was clear and wasn't. Pick another of your favorite drivers for the night.

Newman got into Montoya sending the 42 into the wall.

What race were you watching?

Then why is Newman so worried that the 42 is coming after him?

& sending that message to the NASCAR officials on the scanner?

kstater 04-30-2011 07:43 PM

Because Montoya is acting like a giant bitch?

It's not an act

kstater 04-30-2011 08:02 PM

Jr. has a decent car, but it's a long run car.

Dylan 04-30-2011 08:09 PM

OMG.... wow

kstater 04-30-2011 08:09 PM

Kenseth just booted Gordon and tore up a bunch of good cars.

Dylan 04-30-2011 08:10 PM

Old Dog 04-30-2011 08:13 PM

Matt moved up and took out a handful of cars.

Dylan 04-30-2011 08:16 PM

Jeff Gordon, Paul Menard, Mark Martin, David Reutimann,
Bobby Labonte, Jamie McMurray and Matt Kenseth all involved in the wreck.

Dylan 04-30-2011 08:25 PM

damn, stewart is now in the top 10 -- right before the wreck, i think he was a lap down --

Newman Wrecks Montoya

<object style="height: 390px; width: 640px"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/3jn0BD_7A_M?version=3"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/3jn0BD_7A_M?version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="390"></object>

Newman was coming out of the turn and the 39 never had position and ran into Montoya.

kstater 04-30-2011 08:54 PM

You can bold all the words that you want. Doesn't change the fact that Newman was driving in a straight line and Montoya screwed up thinking he was clear.

Demonpenz 04-30-2011 08:57 PM

Busch

Old Dog 04-30-2011 09:00 PM

Montoya, doesn't want to wait around to "talk" with Newman. FWIW, it looked to me like the #42 came up into the #39.

Didn't you hear Newman just say, he got into the back of Juan?

Edit: The announcers are also saying Newman got into the back of Juan... Then Juan retaliated at spun Newman out.
