Rams are going to rape tommorrow.

I don't "hate" him I wouldn't put him on a team with Talib though, on the Chiefs I think he might be alright.

Yep. 3 of the first 13 picks.

Mecca 04-26-2012 08:57 PM

Maybe we should make a moved for Upshaw he can play inside or outside with versatility and pass rush would be a nice fit.

BryanBusby 04-26-2012 08:58 PM

Upshaw goes here

DaKCMan AP 04-26-2012 08:58 PM

Giants should take Upshaw, especially if they're trading Osi.

Gil Brandt was pretty hard on that guy.

O.city 04-26-2012 08:58 PM

Anyway Upshaw falls to us?

O.city 04-26-2012 08:58 PM

Upshaw doesn't really fit the 43 IMO.

I don't like him as a down end with his lack of height, he looks like a fire hydrant and you waste his versatility in a 4-3.

O.city 04-26-2012 09:00 PM

Upshaw really seems like a Pioli type player.

Dylan 04-26-2012 09:00 PM

how about cordy glenn?

Yeah there is that.

I was talking about the versatility thing.

Chris Chambers.

Giants have been linked to Coby Fleener a lot.

In college I thought he was very good as a down end. He is short but he has rare speed and strength packed in with exceptional agility.

AustinChief 04-26-2012 09:02 PM

Vinny Curry here?

Titty Meat 04-26-2012 09:02 PM

Giants will draft Fleener

Dylan 04-26-2012 09:02 PM

I'm dying

DaKCMan AP 04-26-2012 09:04 PM

David Wilson

O.city 04-26-2012 09:04 PM

Devon Still still around?

ChiefsCountry 04-26-2012 09:04 PM

Wilson from Virginia Tech

Yea, no one likes him though.

ChiefsCountry 04-26-2012 09:05 PM

If I am the Rams tommorrow, I take Fleener first.

DaKCMan AP 04-26-2012 09:05 PM

I'd be very happy with any of these guys in the 2nd:

Cordy Glenn
Janoris Jenkins
Courtney Upshaw
Coby Fleener

Mecca 04-26-2012 09:05 PM

Well that is an interesting pick.

I'd like to see the Chiefs go get Upshaw, he's good value now.

Dylan 04-26-2012 09:05 PM

is he a good rb?

wow ...

doomy3 04-26-2012 09:05 PM

David Wilson and Ahmad Bradshaw. Interesting.

O.city 04-26-2012 09:05 PM

Well, I liked the Poe pick. I know i'm in the minority but I liked it.

BryanBusby 04-26-2012 09:05 PM

David Wilson? Uh okay Giants.

Setsuna 04-26-2012 09:06 PM

1st round? Meh.

doomy3 04-26-2012 09:06 PM

There are some really good players left.

Frosty 04-26-2012 09:06 PM

Seems like a bit of reach there.

They could load up on WRs.. Stephen Hill, Alshon Jeffery, Rueben Randle, Mohamed Sanu

oh no - sounds like you guys don't like the pick ... thanks - appreciate the feedback

Is there a decent list of best players still available. It seems like someone good should still be there at #12 (44) for the Chiefs to pass on.

O.city 04-26-2012 09:08 PM

Upshaw, Konz, Fleener come to mind.

BigMeatballDave 04-26-2012 09:08 PM

Does it really matter? They win the SB with a lousy running game.

They got 3 of the first 13 picks tommorrow. Fleener and then go WR.

I'm with ya. I think he is who the chiefs wanted in the first place. They wanted to get him later, but with no trade partners they had to pick at 11. He will improve the defensive line and therefore improve the linebacker and db play. He will improve the defense.

It's not terrible. The value isn't that bad either, it's just they gave up some great value to get him.

Very unlike the Giants.

He's a good, versatile player but in the first round wasn't worth it.

Frosty 04-26-2012 09:10 PM

You know - I almost wish that the Chiefs had lost the coin flip. Maybe the Seahawks would have taken Poe and the Chiefs could have traded down. Also, they would have #11 in 2nd round.

O.city 04-26-2012 09:10 PM

Janoris Jenkins is still around as well.

Chiefs need some oline help somewhere. Go with Konz and you have no huge holes on the offense outside of the qb.

What about Cordy Glenn and Mike Adams? There are no backups at tackle.

Jeffery ran a 4.47 40. When did Mike Williams ever do that? I don't think the two are comparable at all.

Mecca hates the SEC.

Titty Meat 04-26-2012 09:13 PM

To me Konz is nothing special just a guy. I like Jenkins and Upshaw.

DaKCMan AP 04-26-2012 09:14 PM

Jenkins, Upshaw, Fleener, Glenn. Any of those 4 = Win.

I wouldn't say that, I just know what the players are.

Silatolu, Fleener, Upshaw, Glenn, Konz, Jenkins, and Andre Branch are all interesting options.

O.city 04-26-2012 09:15 PM

Upshaw in the second then.

Get a C somewhere in the draft, more oline depth.

I absolutely hope we can snag Branch tomorrow.

He also lost a ton of weight to run that better time it wasn't his playing weight...Williams ran a 4.5 I believe.

Titty Meat 04-26-2012 09:17 PM

Well even with Poe as a bust this team can still win 7 games. Just enough to not have to draft a QB next year.

O.city 04-26-2012 09:17 PM

Silatolu is interesting.

Upshaw is versatile and makes a shit ton of sense.

214 instead of 229. His game wasn't based upon physicality, even though he has a large 6'4" frame. He has outstanding hands, good enough speed, and ridiculous hops.

Chiefs PR released a video of the war room today called "The Call". In it, the draft board is barely visible in the background, but it's highly censored and blurred out. Taught I was gonna get some major scoopage. Thanks for nothing, Chiefs PR

Frosty 04-26-2012 09:19 PM

I don't see Fleener as an option with the Chiefs signing Boss and getting Moeaki back unless Pioli wants to really emulate the Patriots. I also wouldn't be surprised to see the Colts take him.

This team might use a late pick on a guy like Rhett Ellison he has experience at TE/FB and H-Back.
