I'm with ya. I think he is who the chiefs wanted in the first place. They wanted to get him later, but with no trade partners they had to pick at 11. He will improve the defensive line and therefore improve the linebacker and db play. He will improve the defense.

It's not terrible. The value isn't that bad either, it's just they gave up some great value to get him.

I don't see Fleener as an option with the Chiefs signing Boss and getting Moeaki back unless Pioli wants to really emulate the Patriots. I also wouldn't be surprised to see the Colts take him.
