How'd you like this match up, JGuts VS MadBum Game 7 2014 World Series
LMAO |
This is why the panic that resulted from last night's meltdown was not unfounded.
|
IF w win Tuesday night - Wednesday will simply be insane. Just insane.

Let's light Peavy up like a Christmas tree. Ventura is gonna be throwing hot fire.

What we have to hope is that the Royals that played the ALCS, ALDS show up again. We've lost our way the last few games. |
I doubt they would pitch Bumgarner on three days rest. You have to like our pitching matchups the rest of the way.

I remember Tudor went 1,4,7. It went so well for him he broke his hand on a dugout fan.

Save us from ourselves...or Yost, anyway. He's been shit, but **** the team has played poorly the last two days, and they have to own this. |

BUMGARNER WILL BE ON TWO DAY'S REST FOR GAME 7.
Please everyone, understand this and quit talking about how he can pitch on 3 day's rest. |

I'm glad that we are going back to AL rules for sure, but let's not forget that means that we get Butler and they get Morse. Not sure that's a good trade for us.

2nd day, very light throwing & treatment 3 day, a little harder, treatment 4th day very light throwing & treatment On 3 days rest, you get only 2 days recovery, body strength is your biggest culprit, then location due to weakness. |

It's going to suck shit to see Bum throw a 174 pitch shut-out against us in game 7.

Those ABs were atrocious
I think Esky popped up 18 times |
Clown shoes for the past 2 games.
|
The last two games, our bullpen: 6 IP, 14 H, 11 R, 5 BB, 6 K.
That's the story. |

Listen twerp: we aren't winning now. Think you might wanna start carin about hitting now? |

We really should run Gordon out of town. This team lives and dies as a collective offensively. Butler is the only guy that can maybe carry the offense.
|
Meh.
2 game season now. Gotta take care of business Tuesday. Either way, hell of a ride. Hell of a ride. |

Game 7 is Wednesday. 2 days. |
It's alright. I'm pretty calm.
We get to come back to KC. You can't win twice in one game. Yordano beats Peavy, we'll be favorites... and then game 7 anything can happen in game 7 winning World Series in 7 games is a KC tradition but let's not bash our guys, men It's been a hell of a season even if we lose in 6. Great team. A lot of fun. And I'm sure they'll be ready to fight like hell on Tuesday. |
Let's ****ing win Tuesday...this team with the home crowd! Go Royals

May the best team win. Night all. |
James Shield did pretty good. Wish we could have put some points up to help him out but Bumgard was just beast. Just dumbfounded by what he did tonight in awwe.

I've been complaining about him since mid-Sept. I just don't get it. His hits have been pretty productive (8 post-season hits with 5 2B & 1 HR, 10 RBI), but there just haven't been enough of them. Plus, 15 post-season Ks. |

Bumgarner is a top tier MLB ace.
I didn't expect to win tonight, was hoping to steal one like the Giants did from us yesterday. Oh well. We'll be favorites in game 6 AND game 7 (which doesn't mean a whole lot) but ... I still like our chances. Yordano is a big game pitcher. Gotta get those bats woken up early, though. |

Monday is day one of rest. Tuesday (game 6) is day two of rest. Then he would be pitching on Wednesday. That means that Wednesday isn't a day of rest. So, he would be pitching on 2 days rest, after pitching a complete game tonight. |
Quote:
Day 1 is complete rest Day 2 evaluating, stretching, possible light throwing if he stretches out easily Day 3 is the day you are speaking of. Day 4 is same as Day 2 |

Too many people to point a finger and say...what happened? Escobar missing 2 plays he should have made that led to scores.....Yost making some questionable choices.....the offense convincing themselves they couldn't hit MB......Hosmer not tagging up on Perez's flyball.... |
0 runs last 14 innings
Disgraceful |
What's to stop them from running Bumgarner out there again on Wednesday? I mean....wouldn't you?
|
Could this postseason performance push Bumgarner over Kershaw for the NL Cy Young? It would be pretty unheard of, but he has carried his team.
