Wednesday's game would be on two day's rest for him. I cannot imagine that he'll be available, even though he just said he would be.

I do not think Bumgarner will be available for Game 7 at all.

No it's really not. Yost hasn't been sharp the last two games, but the real story is they have pounded our bullpen, and we've made a few defensive lapses.

I know managers don't matter much in the outcome of games, but it still doesn't excuse the fact that Yost is a bad in-game manager. Good at coaching up players, good at rallying his team, but really really bad at in-game decisions.

On 3 days rest, you get only 2 days recovery, body strength is your biggest culprit, then location due to weakness.

I've been complaining about him since mid-Sept. I just don't get it.

His hits have been pretty productive (8 post-season hits with 5 2B & 1 HR, 10 RBI), but there just haven't been enough of them. Plus, 15 post-season Ks.

Today is Sunday.

Monday is day one of rest.

Tuesday (game 6) is day two of rest.

Then he would be pitching on Wednesday. That means that Wednesday isn't a day of rest.

So, he would be pitching on 2 days rest, after pitching a complete game tonight.

Basically what I said, day 2 & 4 is stretching and usually no more than 15 minutes light throwing.

Day 1 is complete rest
Day 2 evaluating, stretching,possible light throwing if he stretches out easily
Day 3 is the day you are speaking of.
Day 4 is same as Day 2
