I would like to see some time with both Mason, Tharpe, Wiggins, Embid and White on the floor.

Jo Jo hasn't played in a long time, he may even be out of eligibility.

That'd have to be a pretty small lineup. White III would have some trouble defending the 4 methinks.

Pretty sure Wiggins would play post with that lineup.

Not saying you're wrong, but I'd think AW with a wider body would be a better fit. Wiggins' defensive prowess comes from being able to cover so much ground. I'm not sure he's strong enough to play post D. He certainly has more length though.

Was he guarding Parker when they were trying to post Parker?

Either way, with that lineup in, they had better be defending a 4 guard lineup.

I like Mason starting instead of Tharpe, but I really don't think it matters that much. They are both going to get tons of minutes. That's why I'm so surprised Self changed this up. Tharpe is supposed to be the unequivocal leader of the team. Not saying he isn't anymore, but I hope he takes it in stride.

And, I hope AW3 startes to get more minutes. Per minute that he's on the court, he seems like he's as good or better than anybody. His defense appears to be much much better. His shot is good. We need him out there more IMO.

Doesn't matter who starts. It only matters who finishes.

Didn't take long for Tarik Black to ride the pine.

didn't realize that Selden played 37 minutes ... that's a lot for the 1st game

Landen Lucas to redshirt?

Black rode the pine early because A) he was in foul trouble and B) he didn't match up well with the smaller, faster Duke team

Lucas redshirted last year.

So basically . . . no to everything you said.

Mason starting and only a matter of time before Embiid takes Black's job.

so tell me again how wrong i am?

Silock 12-06-2013 09:01 PM

We'll see if it's permanent. I kinda doubt it.

I've been hearing he's got a nice outside shot for over a year now, but I haven't seen it show up yet. I'm ready to see more Greene because I am pretty sure he's a better shooter and he can score off the drive. Self probably doesn't like his defense yet.

We are underdogs tomorrow in Boulder.
