Just a reminder that EJ did the same thing as Greene about 3 years ago at ISU and it wasn't mentioned at all. Did EJ get a pass from Self/the media because he basically won that game by himself?

Self apologized to Hoiberg and mentioned it in his press conference after the game. He didn't go as far to call it a dick move because immediately after the game, EJ apologized during the on court interview with Holly Rowe.

Self was pissed about it....and he states that in the article.

So it was a brief snippet in a game story instead of blown into something like this. Kind of my point.

I guess the media had bigger fish to fry that day, though, what with ISU fans tossing garbage at the team, fighting the coach, and making racist slurs/death threats at players on Twitter after the game.

Have been missing out on all the KU action the past couple weeks. After reading through here, one would think that the world was ending and the Jayhawks were in jeopardy of missing the tournament. From what i can see KU is 18-4, ranked in the top 10 still and still in play for another Conference Championship. Things aren't all bad... sure this might not be one of the best KU Teams we've seen, but if this is our "down year" then we've got it pretty damn good. Have to admit, we are a spoiled bunch. :D

There's nothing worse than hearing we are "spoiled". It's such nonsense. We have the highest recruiting budget, the #2 most valuable program (per Forbes), the 3rd highest paid coach (Self $6M) and either the best or second best home building.


We pay YUGE costs and show up en masse to keep the train rolling. We aren't "spoiled" in any sense of the word.
