Could have traded down and gotten a decent OT prospect all the same, too.

No one wanted that number one pick. I'm sure kc did everything in their power to get out and couldn't.

Don't even talk about it. Shit, the player we could have had.

Still, you are 3-0.

True.

It may sound like I'm complaining, I'm really not. I'm over the moon about how this team has been performing, but with a QB like Andrew Luck at the helm for the next decade to complement this incredible defense, we would be as dominant as the Broncos, but with a younger, mobile version of Peyton.

You'd need another wr imho but man am I glad you didn't get Luck.
What sort of satanic sacrifice does Indy undertake to get qb's? It's uncanny.

I know right. 15 years of Peyton, one 2-14 year, then another decade of a half of the second coming of Peyton. JFC are Colts fans lucky.

Don't forget Johnny Unitas and Bert Jones, though their was a bit of a stretch of suckery in-between Jones and Manning.

And Unitas is the best ever.

Yeah, I'm sure Dorsey and Reid never thought about that.

Also, I'm positive that they were flooded with offers.

Didn't it though? 30 some years of being scared to take a QB in the 1st. That pick changed everything about the franchise.
