Dude, Seattle is done for the season and Schneider and Carroll know it. There is no urgency on their part. There is no playoffs in their future this season and why they can afford to sit back moreso than us IMHO.

If they want a 2 and nobody will give it to them, they are being smart by waiting. Some team loses a safety to injury, they could have 2-3 teams trying to trade for ET and then that price goes up.

And some teams won’t want to deal with him because of it.

I imagine most teams will want to give him a 3 year deal (age) and what message does that send to interested teams that he might act up after 2 years?
