Damn. Kind of killed your own argument with that article, I'm afraid. Teams pulling off sign and trades and ending up with superteams isn't the same as 3 stars colluding over half a decade, down to the length of contract and how much each would leave on the table, in order to all fit under the cap. A valiant effort, though.

You're right, I'm sure no superstars before LeBron ever talked with other superstars to facilitate such moves with their organizations. Definitely never happened. LMAO

To that level? No, I'm going to safely say that probably didn't happen.

I guarantee it did.

Feel free to provide examples. But I doubt you're going to come close to Lebron, Wade, and Bosh making plans in 2006 to line up their contracts to hit unrestricted free agency at the same time then each take 15 million less than they're eligible for to make it even work.

But saying that titles don't matter at all is even dumber than saying they're all that matters.

I don't think Brady's the GOAT when it's all said and done with Mahomes, but I'm also not going to pretend that his championships don't matter.

That is EXACTLY why I say you're the other side of that coin.

You have to pretend that championships are irrelevant to the discussion, which is an awfully convenient (and moronic) position for a Lebron Stan.

It's like me trying to say that longevity doesn't matter at all. It's absurd. It's all part of the equation.

And deep down, you know this, hence why you are so desperate for Lebron to win more, even as the 2nd option. It's exactly why you hate the Warriors and Curry so much. You aren't fooling anybody. That's the irony of you claiming "you expose yourself in regards to your actions..."

Arguing with you about this is absolutely futile, because you're 100% bad faith.

I agree with this take. I believe MJ is the GOAT as well as Brady but for long time I believed Montana was. Why? It is not just about how many championships they won but it is that they were undefeated as well. People tend to forget that part. Brady for his part just won so many that he has to be in front of Montana now.

As far as Mahomes goes, listen I am one if not the biggest Mahomes lover here but people need to tap the brakes on GOAT talk for now. He has a long way to go so let's just enjoy it.

KD got to play one-on-one coverage all series because of that and he still wasn't even better than LeBron statistically.

Isn’t Love starting for the Heat?

Is he not washed? He’s playing 15 minutes a game shooting under 40%. This was a guy who was a top 5-10 player in the game for a few years.

If I was privy to the internal communications of various NBA superstars, I would. But there are plenty of examples of superstars coming together prior to LeBron and it would be naive to think such players didn’t have such discussions despite being on different teams.

He’s still starting. For a team with a leg up on going to the finals. Probably wasn’t washed up several years ago as you are implying.

He was absolutely washed then and now. You have no memory of Kevin Love at his peak if you don’t think so.

KC_Connection 05-21-2023 06:33 PM

Love is shooting under 40% overall and under 30% from three this season while averaging 8 points a game with no defense. He’s a very bad player.

KC_Connection 05-21-2023 06:35 PM

And as I say that, Love hits a three

dirk digler 05-21-2023 06:35 PM

LMAO Kevin Love washed up at 28 in his prime. wtf. I think DJ was right.

You think Kevin Love was in his prime in 2018? LMAO

He’s also a 1988 birthday FYI
