Going for it on 4th in their own house down one score...from the 35 ROFL

I love having Patrick Mahomes on my team!

Lol thats what makes it even more hilarious. Ravens had the "#1 defense". Ravens second drive of the and you are going for it on 4th and 1 at your own I think it was 34 yard line??? Wow a lot of faith in that "historically good defense".

Tranquil may be our best defensive player…

This team down the stretch is becoming like the freaking 2015 Royals. Grab a lead early (even if its only 1-0 doesnt matter) and Kelvin Herrera, Wade Davis and Greg Holland are coming to shut the door. It was automatic.

Mahomes and Kelce will grab the lead early and let his defense and Isiah Pacheco freaking go to work. Mahomes at this point in the season understands just how good this defense is. Do not turn the ball over and we are not losing.

Great analogy and spot on.

And even if Mahomes is conservative it still puts pressure on the opposing offense to score, just having him out there.

And that in turn makes the defense better.

It's like compounding interest.

On Sirius radio they had some Baltimore guys on to talk about the game and it was shocking how honest they were.

They said the stadium immediately deflated and got nervous after our first drive when Mahomes torched Kyle Hamilton. They said it Baltimore was like a fighter talking all night before the fight and then getting hit so hard in the first rd that they fell to their knee.

Even after they fired back and got a TD, we came right back and made everyone even more somber and nervous. And that's why they brought Suggs out there LMAO

Goddamn I love how much everyone fears Mahomes

I actually noticed this after the commercial break. When the Ravens got the ball back after that first score, it was absolutely silent. They could not take that first punch.

They're lucky Lamar was able to wizard his way to that first touchdown, or they might've been shut out all game long. Things could've gotten even uglier for them.

WTF is an administrative Time Out? A drone my ass. I have a theory on it. That's what happens when the pet QB gets his bell rung and the NFL circumvents protocol keeping said QB from having to go into the blue tent and be evaluated for a concussion.

Or maybe there was a drone.

Did you see a drone? I didn't but I did see Lamar get rag dolled and get his head shoved into the ground.

That's exactly what happened. You then saw the coaching staff panic and scrap their whole gameplan. And I'm sick of the talking morons not giving the chiefs credit for this. They blame the staff for being stupid. Mahomes, kelce, and Reid came out and just terrified that staff looking unstoppable for 2 drives. Then just leaned on em with the defense.

Lamar and his comments about it sucking to play against mahomes...Stage was too big. Opponent too intimidating. This is a dynasty. They have an aura that gets into the other coaches heads.

I liked Broussard's take on Nick Wright's show yesterday. He compared it to the Tyson-Holyfield fight when Tyson realized that Holyfield wasn't gonna back down and be afraid of Mike. Mike then lost his crap and bit his damn ears off.

I thought the guy opposite Nick Wright did a good job separating the two things and giving the Chiefs credit for causing some of the meltdown.... but at the same time, the Ravens deserve a good chunk of the blame, IMO.

Or to put it another way, I'm not sure if it matters THAT much if the Chiefs punched them in the mouth or say the Bills did the same (let's pretend for a moment they were decimate on defense), the meltdown and panic and inexperience would have come out to a large extent, I think. And considering they were 10-10 with the freakin Texans at halftime, it's probably not a huge stretch to say the Bills could have taken an early lead and put the same pressure on them.

To what extent, who knows.... but, if they were dumb enough to think they could bully a 2 time SB champion team, it wouldn't surprise me they would do it against anyone..
