Just because he’s washed doesn’t mean he can’t contribute. Same goes for Kyle Lowry. They are fractions of the players they used to be but they have value.

Love’s prime years were in 2011-2014 when he was averaging 25-13-4. He was nowhere near that player for the Cavs even the year they won.

Sixth man of the year contender for nearly the entire season isn’t washed. He had some huge games for the Cavs last year.

He averaged 13 points a game and provided no defensive value. The Cavs had literally been trying to get rid of his contract since LeBron left with no takers.

Like is Lowry not washed because he has great moments/games still like in these playoffs? I suppose it comes down to your definition of “washed” because Love isn’t even as good a player these days as Lowry.
