I'm just glad they finally made Arya a badass. You saw hints of it with her sparring with Brienne, killing the Waif, killing Trant, and killing Little Finger, but to see her actually fight multiple enemies and display her ability to be an assassin, it was pretty cool to see. Too bad Bran is still useless, I mean what could he do now that would make his character worth anything at this point instead of being a yearbook for the graduating classes of Westeros? Warg into the Mountain is the only thing I can think of that will actually make me like Bran.

I know George rr Martin maybe had creative differences. If he backed the general idea of the ending I just find it hard to believe the show runners would take creative liberties with an extremely critical detail over who'd kill the night King.

Meh. Halfway through when all the main characters were being overrun it became apparent that the only way for it to end without every living person being killed was for the NK to go down. From that point on it was just drawn out battle scenes with some nice little throwbacks and easter eggs mixed in. Mostly played out in the dark.

Action was great, score was great. Story and writing was garbage.

This show has gone too mainstream and started catering to the lowest common denominator as soon as it passed the books.

I knew it had jumped the shark when Ed Sheeran showed up and every other line was a sophomoric penis joke.

I would just like for the writers to understand how castles actually worked and why people went to the expense of building them.

Suffice to say a major stronghold like Winterfell should be able to force the night king out in the open since his army had no siege equipment at all. Just masses of bodies aren't getting through a properly built castle.

In this case, I'm prepared to cut them some slack. Zombies don't need siege equipment. Unlike real people, some zombies will compliantly form a bridge over a fiery pit or the base of a ramp for other zombies to cross.

Zombies and dragons in a show? Be historically accurate damnt!!!!

They actually would. First the walls were way too short, should of been at least 30 feet tall and probably taller than that. The walls would of been plastered smooth to prevent climbing. In addition things like boiling oil or lighted pitch would be close to dump on anybody climbing or right at the walls. There are also many other design flaws of winterfell as depicted in the show.

Castles were seriously designed fortifications designed to kill anybody foolish enough to assault them head on.

I could be wrong, but I thought in the books Winterfell had an 80 foot outter wall with a 100 foot wall behind it, with a moat in between. That would’ve been cool to see. 2 different walls to scale. Would’ve made it easier to defend.

Don't bring facts into this. Let them revel as babes at this chicanery.

Yep. Eight years.

One of two possibilities here, IMO.

1. He's got them both finished, and will release them after the show has concluded.

2. **** you, **** me, and **** everybody else, because he's a filthy rich procrastinating prick who doesn't give a shit about what anybody wants and is tired of being pestered.

Personally, my money's on 2. But I hope it's 1.

It's 2. There isn't much doubt about it at this point, unfortunately.
